hi, i'm brand new here and i'm tapering down

from paxil (which i think is the same as seroxat). i've been on it for about seven years and after speaking with my pharmacologist we decided that this is as good a time as ever to try to wain off the drug.
i'm currently on my first step down and already i'm starting to feel extremely down, i've been having bad anxiety dreams, and have been feeling unbelievably helpless (and i'm sure my pms is not helping the situation). i decided to join this board to talk with other people who know what i'm going through because i find it near impossible to communicate how i'm feeling with people who can't relate.
